Mainline Drafting Service Terms and Service Agreement

  • Mainline Drafting Service (MDS) reserves the right to decline or discontinue service at its discretion.
  • MDS will try to provide a minimum two week notice to client prior to any projected times of unavailability. If for any reason MDS is unable to complete the work requested by the client, MDS will advise the client as soon as possible of this dilemma, not to exceed 24 hours from the time in which drawings were received “in hand.” MDS’s goal is same day service. However, client should submit drawings as soon as possible and allow a minimum of two day turnaround on all work submitted. MDS, with maximum effort, will “turnaround” drawings as expediently as possible.
  • MDS will prepare all work in the order in which it is received.
  • It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the final accuracy of completed drawings they receive from MDS. Ultimate responsibility for archived drawings is the client’s as well.
  • Payment is requested within 10 days of invoice date. Any payments not received within 30 days of invoice date are subject to late fees. Invoices will normally be emailed to client and confirmed received. Make all checks payable to: Mainline Drafting Service
  • MDS bills at .25 hour increments per the applicable rate. Time billed will include a drafting check and file backup. The current rate is $40 per hour. 
  • If requested on-site for briefing/instructions concerning a project MDS will charge mileage at $.50 a mile, in addition to the applicable CAD rate for time spent on-site.
  • Separate $15.00 Charge for each drawing larger than 11x17 requiring digitizing and scanning. $5.00 charge per CD for any digital file(s) requested on CD.
  • Any additional requirements or work related details requested by client outside the scope of this agreement will require an additional written addendum.
  • MDS maintains privacy of ALL Clients’ drawings and does not share any Client information with others.
